Liberty Mutual Re (LM Re), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Dan Carroll to the role of Senior Underwriter (Aviation Treaty Reinsurance).
Dan is based in London and reports to Hans Towler, Head of Aviation. He is responsible for underwriting, along with assisting with portfolio management/optimisation, new business and product development, business planning, and developing client and broker relationships. He takes up the role with immediate effect.

Dan joins from Axis where he was Underwriting Manager for their aviation D&F account and where he was involved in purchasing their outwards reinsurance programme.
